Ella Marie Eggertz

Ella Marie Eggertz was born Sunday, December 3rd at 11:30 am. It was the best Christmas present ever! (and birthday present for Cam). She is a good mix between Cam and I. She has Cam's deep set eyes, but her hair is straight (no curls it seems) and is also strawberry blonde. It looks a little red when the sunshine hits it. We are loving having her in our family, and she seems to fit right in. She is sleeping all right, so far, and that helps. I have felt pretty good with this one, no baby blues yet. However, my comment about my boobs not hurting is not true anymore. I think they might explode at any minute. She was nursing great at the beginning, but now I am being chewed up. Lovely, I know.

Joshua loves his new baby sister. He always wants to be with the baby and me, sitting by us while she's feeding and such. He loves to rub her head and is always saying "she's cute, isn't she mom." He is nothing but smiles everytime he sees her.

Daxton seems to like her too. We gave Ella her first bath today, and Dax was mesmerized. He kept pointing and smiling, and saying something (it was in baby language, so hopefully it was something good.)

Cameron loves her too. I love seeing Cam around new babies. He is awesome and has been an incredible help, doing laundry, bathing the boys and such. I'll enjoy that as long as I can!

Cam plans on leaving January 3rd. We are still in the process of getting our visas and passports together. The website isn't very clear about the whole thing, and everytime we submit something, they tell us it's not complete. Hopefully we will get it figured out quickly so Cam can fly to LA and pick everything up.

As for me, I am so incredibly happy. I just keep thanking Heavenly Father for these 3 beautiful and healthy children. They are the greatest gifts I have ever received. When all three are sitting on my bed, laughing and smiling, let's just say it's tops. I think that's what heaven must feel like-surrounded by all those you love so much.

I will keep you all posted as to when we are leaving, and such. I will also let you know if I have to go back to the hospital because my boobs exploded. Thanks for your emails!
